Pavel Kostyshak

Dr. Pavel Kostyshak

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Paul Kostyshak earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from California State University, Chico, where he competed as an NCAA Division II pole vaulter. He later graduated summa cum laude from Life Chiropractic College West, earning Clinic Honors while completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Dr. Paul was inspired to pursue chiropractic through his passion for movement, performance, and helping people live active lives. Having worked in physically demanding environments and competed in athletics, he understands firsthand the demands that work, training, and everyday life can place on the body. This perspective continues to shape his approach to patient care today.

He enjoys helping patients get back to doing the things they love, whether that means returning to the gym, competing in sports, keeping up with their family, or simply moving through life with greater confidence and less discomfort. Dr. Paul believes that if you move, you're an athlete, and his goal is to help people build resilient bodies that support their lifestyle for the long term.

His treatment approach combines chiropractic care, Active Release Techniques (ART), soft tissue therapy, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), cupping, rehabilitative exercise, and patient education. He has a particular interest in strength training, injury recovery, and performance optimization.

Pain relief is important, but Dr. Paul is equally passionate about helping patients build strength, confidence, and long term durability. He believes the best outcomes come from combining hands on treatment with movement and education to help patients take ownership of their health.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Paul enjoys strength training, nutrition, reading, travel, and continuing his education in health, fitness, and human performance.
